Welcome, Welcome (in Major and Minor)

This is a song that 3rd grade students have been singing as they enter the music room since the beginning of the year. They learned it in minor tonality, and later we learned how to sing the chord roots in minor (La and Mi). Recently, I sang the song in major tonality and asked the students what was different. A large majority of the class was correct in telling me that I had switched the tonality from minor to major. We learned how to sing it in major tonality and later on we learned how to sing the chord roots in major (Do and So). Here is 3B performing "Welcome, Welcome" with chord roots in both minor and major tonality.
