Leprechaun Dance

Here are some second graders singing the song "Leprechaun Dance." This is an activity to help students feel and differentiate between the macrobeat (big beat) and microbeat (little beat) of a song. They sing, and during the A section they step to either the macrobeat or the microbeat around the room. On the B section they move a specific body part to that same beat (whatever body part that was on the back of the gold coin they turned over).
