2nd Grade Macrobeat/Microbeat Activity

This is a video of some second graders showing how to switch between the macrobeat and the microbeat in duple meter. A student in the middle of the circle determines which beat the other students are moving/chanting to. The large hula hoop represents the macrobeat (the big beat) and the smaller hula hoop represents the microbeat (the little beat).
